great vibe. They did an extremely good job on the remodel. Marble tile on bathroom floors, Lefroy Brooks plumbing fixtures, cool retro lite fixtures. While all NYC rooms are small... it was well thought out and workable. The lobby, bar and in-house bakery were equally pleasing... good food at bakery. front doorman was always very pleasant and helpful. would definitely stay again

I live in Brooklyn and sometimes need a little getaway so I stay at a hotel for a night and this was one of my favorites. The staff was very accommodating and the room was beautiful.

The people here are great and the location was perfect. The only negative feedback we had was the mold in the shower. Otherwise we would have given the hotel a 5 out of 5 stars.

We take this very seriously and have an extensive general cleaning program that we do with our rooms to ensure this does not happen. Location and style is the only reasons to book a stay here. The beds we slept in were incredibly uncomfortable and the mini fridge did not keep anything cool. After 4 nights my back was aching bad. Not only could you feel the springs, god forbid you move around, the beds are very very loud, crunchy stiff noise will be sure to wake your partner/ room mate.
