If you don't mind a little walk to public transit, this hotel is great. Here's my complaint. I spent a week here in April, and four days in May, and the A/C wasn't on either time. Most of the hotel rooms are bathed in direct sunlight at least part of the day, so the A/C needs to be turned on. Having lived in Paris for two years, I understand that the French wear coats and scarves into June. There's still no excuse for the rooms to be so hot due to lack of A/C that you can't sleep under the blanket. I would definitely stay in this hotel again in November, December, January or February. Other months, I'm going to stay elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel. WiFi not free though. Lots of shopping and the Metro was very close.

Great room

Loved the hotel, the location and our room. Located in safe surroundings with plenty shopping and cafe restaurants nearby. We had a very comfy king bed and a pullout sofa for the 3 of us. Plenty of drinks available in the lounge. Only drawback was the concierge who we tryed but could not locate at her desk all week.

THE PERFECT PLACE TO STAY - look no further.

The Hotel is beautiful & the staff is tremendously helpful. A few hours after our arrival, we received a package of "Things to see & do in Paris" highlighting popular attractions, restaurants, & shopping with detailed directions to the destination via public transportation. Conveniently located near the Metro stop, we purchased a week pass & were at all of our favorite destinations around Paris within 15 minutes from the time we got on. It took 25 minutes by train to get to Versailles Palace which was a scenic & definite worthwhile trip. This hotel is within a 5 minute walk to the Grande Arche, a huge shopping mall close to 300 stores & eateries ( with some great prices ), restaurants, the Metro, water fountains, a carousel, banks, Starbucks; most anything you could want. The area is bustling during the day & calm at night which was a welcome relief from some busy days of sightseeing & partying. The breakfast buffet was amazing every morning, & we enjoyed dinner a couple times as well in the dining room looking out at the Grande Arche. We made friends in the lounge which served food & drink late & we were able to grab a good expresso at the bar as as well. Most impressive was the Hotel staff, extremely pleasant , well versed in English, & always ready to assist. They went out of their way in assisting us with recovering a lost bag from the airport & even called the New York Airport for us the following day. We were impressed by the entire staff & appreciated the housekeeping staff help us brush us on our french. Cabs: from central city to hotel * Euro. (Metro * Euro.)
