We booked 2 rooms and requested adjoining rooms ahead of time. We get to the property and get told they don’t have 2 rooms on our reservation and also that we had too many people for the one room they did have so we’d have to pay extra to get a larger room. Then after informing them that we will cancel our trip and go home they magically find our second room and tell us that the rooms are adjoining and everything is fine. But it wasn’t fine, I go to sign the forms and notice the floors not only are not adjoining but they’re not even located on the same floor of the building (ones bottom floor and the other is top floor) we explain that this isn’t doable for us and try to leave again. The manager decides he’s going to ‘upgrade us for only $20 more’ to a suite. We agree and pay the extra. Once we get upstairs we find out that we were not given a suite, we were given one of the rooms they told us we had too many people for and we were charged for both rooms, plus the extra. Nothing was fixed, nothing was solved, we ended up paying almost $400 for 2 adults and 4 kids to stay in one tiny room. Extremely dissatisfied, irritated, and will now be spending the next business day disputing charges with my back once we get home.

The property was well maintained on the outside. My room was dirty and there appeared to be dried blood on the bathroom floor. The water in the shower was cold, the utensils for breakfast were dirty. Will never stay there again

I honestly believe they are running a human trafficking operation over there, and the whole bottom floor is booked with homeless people. We arrived at night and had no choice but to stay as we were traveling a long distance and had our 3 year old with us. I was scared that the room was going to get broken into, and it would not surprise me if they had hidden cameras setup. When the sun came up we went to the front counter and asked for a refund at which time the young boy at the desk refused, and gave us the run around. When I called corporate they opened a case and stopped payment, however the front desk kept my info and ran my card a week later again for the full amount. I am in the process of handling through my bank but this place is a disaster. Do not stay there

I liked the indoor or outdoor jogging or biking options, the rooms were very clean, the staff was very courteous and helpful from check in to check out, one of the staff members even called me an Uber on the morning of the 13th of October to ensure I got to the airport early to catch my flight, so very grateful, A service. Also, always had hot coffee available and a good time amount for a nice breakfast in the morning, If you want good stay and service for a fair price, the Comfort Inn & Suites Scarborough - Portland, is an excellent option!!!!

They did not agree to refund a cancellation for a reservation that was made the same day for my 19 year old son. His flight was cancelled and he was stuck in another state and could not make it to Portland. Absolutely no kindness or compassion whatsoever.

The room had a horrible stench in it, very worn and dated room. The breakfast was not accommodating for my daughter who has allergies, had to eat elsewhere. Will not stay there again.
