First Impression was that this was a peacefull location, the Owner (I am assuming) Sophie checked us in and was so nice and welcoming. She had reccomondations for dining, and we were very happy with the choice. I just wish we had been able to stay longer than 1 night. Morning Continental breakfast was enough to get us through the day, and even though it was a rainy cool day, there was an outside eating area that was covered and warm enough to sit there instead of taking back to our room.

Beautiful property. Love the history behind it. Our bed was too firm and caused a backache, that would be our only complaint.

This was a delightful place to stay. Difficult in that the rooms were up a stairway and my husband has knee problems but we enjoyed the stay and would return there
