To begin with, the lady at the front desk gave me a key for room 201 and when I opened we the door, it was apparant the room was “being used”. When I went back to the lobby, she simply stated, “oh, I gave you the wrong room, that one is occupied!” No apology, no embarrassment, nothing!!! Super dangerous for me and could have easily gotten shot. The hotel was was unclean and I was afraid to sleep in the sheets. No shampoo in room and no ice machines in hotel. TERRIBLE!

Disappointed

Pros: Unfortunately not much. It was only 15 min from our function in New Hill area.
Cons: Customer service, accessability to a front desk person, and cleaning.
Location: Work related trip so didnt have time to explore the area.
Needed to confirm late check in and get info from hotel. No one answering phone had to leave message but no return call. Finally got through and got info. Arrived as expected for late check in and although beds looked made the floors of room sticky, food left in fridge. When called front desk to make them aware they said they dont clean rooms each day and only when asked. So my question is, with that policy, was my room ever cleaned or just bed made up? Unacceptable to have it not ready especially with late arrival check in. No discount given at check out because again front desk not staffed! Very disappointing.

Will stay again

We booked online since the state fair was going on. Every hotel was reserved luckily they had one room left and the price was great. The lady at the front office was very helpful and pleasant.

Nice for a one nighter

Pros: New and cost
Cons: It was new
Location: Located in an industrial area. Good for workers or persons who need a short term place to stay.
New and clean but no frills. Has a full size refrigerator, a stove top, and a microwave.

Room not available

Reserved a two bed non-smoking room. The first problem was the rate. It was higher than the quoted rate. This was resolved once I presented documentation. Then I was informed that only smoking rooms were available. This was not acceptable. I checked the room before rejecting it. The strong smell of smoke was evident upon exiting the elevator. There was no effort to meet my needs.
