Positive but for 3 things

Plenty of room. Full kitchen. No ice machine. They provide a coffee maker and coffee bags in the room. 1. Dirty carpets. They were vacuumed, but could use shampooing. Otherwise, the room was neat and clean. 2. There is 1 air conditioning unit and it is right over the bed and it is loud. However, I did get a good night's sleep. 3. If you stay anything past 11 a.m. for checkout, there is a $20 charge. Other than noted above, this is a pleasant, clean place to stay. The rates seem reasonable.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a review. We value all feedback we receive in order to offer our guest's the best stay. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and I want you to know that we are working on the upkeep of the carpets. With the busy summer months we try our best to handle stains and carpet cleaning as promptly as possible. I have passed along your other concerns to management so that they can take these items into consideration. Thank you again and we certainly hope to see you the next time you visit the area!

Great location

Pros: The location.
Cons: Accuracy of the room given in terms of what was booked.
Location: Two beaches and shopping.
This was a nice small family owned hotel close to both Rehoboth and Lewes beach. However, the description of a room with a Queen bed was definitely not accurate. Our bedroom had a full bed instead of the Queen that I had reserved. Other than that it is a good option for the beach.

Thank you for your review. As per the owner - all of our beds, including the sleeper sofas in the living rooms, have queen sized mattresses on them. Had we been made aware of your confusion, we would have addressed it quickly. We hope that you return to "your home away from home" soon!

Nicely equipped, friendly, quiet

Our room was a bit funky - carpet a bit stained though very clean and the wallpaper in the bathroom cracked and starting to come loose in one place. But those were the only negatives. It's not the Ritz but it's a very nice budget motel. Fully equipped kitchenette including flatware and kitchen utensils plus plates and pans and glassware. Coffee machine with supplies to make a full pot. Real furniture - not fancy but not the cheap stuff they make for motels. Very nice and helpful owner. No traffic noise, quiet at night though on a busy street - recommend Bob Evans just down the street for a quick breakfast.

Becareful not to dirty the room.

Pros: It was on the main drag. Lots of shopping
The staff warns you a couple of times that if you smoke there is a $500.00 fine. When you get to the room there is a sign, that if the room is dirty, there is a $500.00 fine. Considering that they advertise these rooms as efficiencies, what do they consider dirty. We were afraid to even make coffee. The bed swallows you. It reminded me of the "I Love Lucy" episode where Ethel ties Fred to the side of the bed so that he doesn't roll into the middle. Asked where there was a good restaurant, and they didn't now of one. Accidently opened the door and the bell sounded again and someone on the inside hollared.

Pros: Ground level, no second floors or elevators. Take luggage straight from car to room.
Cons: Telephone, but not a big deal as practically everyone has cell phones relay
Excellent. There are nine units in a row and I was impressed that they assigned occupancy to odd units first to put an empty unit in between eliminating noise from neighbors. The only thing I found different was no phone in room. I would definitely stay again.
