Hummingbird Lodge is a premium experience that features 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, large loft area, reading room and rec room. Amenities include Wifi, extra large 6 person hot tub, 30 x 40 covered shelter, DirecTV and wood burning fireplace.
The lodge offers great spaces inside for reading, games and watching your favorite game, show or movie. Outside enjoy a fire pit, rocking chairs on the front porch and the large outdoor shelter.
Hummingbird has an excellent layout, perfect any combination of groups. Each floor is a suite, offering sleeping areas, full bathroom, kitchen or kitchenette and lounge. This allows families to each have their own space within the cabin.
The lodge is pet friendly and offers a VIP treatment for our furry guests, including a water and food bowl, sleeping bed, leash, outdoor tie off and private pet deck (right off our reading room).
The detached shelter is a bonus for guests. Providing covered shelter year round, this area has picnic table and Adirondack seating. There are lights and outlets available, so if you would like to brew coffee, plug in the crock pot or keep the drinks cold in the fridge, this space is for you. The shelter is large enough to host family reunions, small receptions or weddings.

The perfect place for our family getaway weekend of hiking and exploring. The modern rustic style of the lodge was perfect. There was plenty of space for gathering and privacy. We had some rainy time but there were plenty of indoor things to do. The covered porch was a great place to watch the hummingbirds.

Great spot in the middle of everything
Wonderful house with 5 bedrooms and plenty of space for our large family and dogs. The house was very clean and stocked up with most everything we needed, including equipment for the dogs. We particularly appreciated the dog bed and the little heaters in several of the bedrooms, as it was a bit chilly, being April. The location was minutes from all the best that Hocking Hills State Park and other trails in the area have to offer. Paul was a wonderful host, very thoughtful, communicative and a delight to work with. We tried to be as good to him as he was to us. Thank you so much for a wonderful long weekend with the family!

Such a great place. We rented out last year so we was pretty familiar with everything. The addition of the game room was a blast for the kids. The downstairs shower is still one of my favorites, especially coming back from a good hike. No problems to report

Great place
This is a great place to stay. It would be the perfect place for a large family or several couples. Bedrooms are nice and big upstairs with 3 bedrooms downstairs. The only downside to the basement bedrooms is how they are located. They are right next to each other and the walls are very thin. The doors on all the bedrooms are very noisy because of the latches on them. The point being, if you are a light sleeper, don’t expect to sleep if others are up. It was also very cold sleeping in the downstairs bedrooms and two of the heaters in the rooms did not work. The outside area is awesome as well as the arcade room! Location is great for several hiking trails and very close to Old Man’s Cave. My kids and family also had a blast trying to find the monkeys!! 😉

Very accommodating with a true cabin feel
We enjoyed this cabin and location to the local attractions. The hiking and local shops were an added benefit to what the cabin offered during our stay. The little details provided really made the experience more enjoyable from a fully stocked cupboard to the spacious garage game room. The combination of the open concept cabin interior and the available outdoor amenities made our experience very enjoyable.

Our stay at Hummingbird Lodge was perfect! The location was very near the main hiking spots and parks and there were hiking trails on property as well. The hominess and ‘fun’ component was beyond compare!
