This quaint, rustic two-bedroom cabin, with its beautiful wood-covered vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors, was built in 1929. The center piece of the living room is a large wood burning fireplace with a beautiful wood mantel. The main floor bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the loft bedroom has 1 king-sized bed and 1 twin bed. Many modern conveniences have been added including central heat and air, new windows and skylights. The full kitchen was remodeled in 2013 and is equipped with everything you need to cook your meals. The cabin has a large bathroom with ample counter space and natural lighting. Guests can enjoy the large jetted Roman tub with the skylight directly above or the separate walk-in shower. For convenience, the water closet (toilet) is in its own room separate from tub, shower and sink. The cabin is surrounded with over 600 square feet of outdoor decking boasting all the beautiful sights and sounds of the Sierra Blanca Mountain Range. The Winger Cabin, once owned by Deborah Winger, is located in the Upper Canyon area of Ruidoso, just a short walk from the Ruidoso River. You can often hear the river from the front deck! Wildlife is never far away… here you will see deer, turkey, elk, and—in the warmer months—abundant hummingbirds.
