What I liked - next to beach, walking distance to many places, free bike to go farther to explore, floating round trampoline to relax in the water What I disliked - small pool, so packed with sun chairs hard to walk around pool. Sand by water so small, and not enough space to put more chairs. Expensive food, and drinks. (bring a tumbler, get free ice, and filtered water to save your hard earned dollar). TIPS are included in food service - no incentive for servers to go the extra mile to earn tips. How dare they put a line for MORE TIPPING?!?!?! Shame on all restaurants for doing this. If included, no need to tip, they forced you to do this.

The commons areas are very clean and beautiful but the rooms are just average. The biggest disappointment was the beach.. it no longer exists but on social media they still show it. It washed away in a hurricane so now there is a shuttle to a beautiful private beach with all the amenities. The pool is nice with impeccable service. My biggest disappointment was the amount of pool area the resort takes away from guests when the have a private function. This Marriott has no business having private functions outside. Paying a daily resort fee to not having nearly enough room to accommodate guests is totally inappropriate!

Please know that our coastal environment has changed only in recent times. I do understand the disconnect that now presents, please be aware we are working to create verbiage that is more consistent with current expectations. I have spoken with the respective departments about showing the current situation to guests on social media so that we are as upfront and transparent as possible.  Our intention is always to provide our guests with memorable stays full of endless summer vibes through our kind and attentive style of service.  Thank you again for the review and feedback.

There is NO Beach here. Staff is nice and Travelocity didn’t divulge this at the time of booking. They have currently put something up since everyone is complaining. Because this was a pre-paid trip-If we transferred to another property we would’ve had to pay an additional $1500. The hotel was nice enough to give us a credit for the resort fees($300) The food was great and the staff is very accommodating. When they rebuild their beach front then I would reconsider staying there. Otherwise-NO WAY!

Dear George, Thank you for taking the time to submit your comments about your recent stay. We appreciate your generous comments about our attentive staff and good service. We do understand that the current state of the coastline in front of our resort is less than ideal.  Please know that we are working diligently with the local government and environmentalists to find a sustainable solution.  In the meantime, we offer access to our private beach located 10 minutes away, complete with food and beverage options too to ensure a pleasant beach experience.  The shuttle runs every half hour.  I have also spoken with the front desk, marketing department, and reservations about increasing our communication around the beach to maintain full transparency with our guests.  Thank you again for your comments and I do hope to see you back at our resort soon.

The service at this hotel is exceptional. From the first minute of checkin to the security office calling us on the way to the airport letting us know we'd left a wallet and keys in the room. Noelia at the front desk greeted us so warmly and thought of everything from activities to making sure our room keys could open both rooms. Mona at the Grab and Go bar gave us a smile every morning. Damian made sure we had everything we needed for spending time at the beach or off property activities. We saw a terrific variety of fish snorkeling and paddle boarding around the artificial reef outside the hotel. The front door staff helped us with transportation and directions to all our off property activities including cabs and bikes and tours. The food at the indoor and outdoor restaurants pleased everyone. Afternoon gelatto was a favorite.

All staff were fantastic!!!! The resort was very clean and beautiful. The beach was beautiful but smaller than we expected. The food was fresh and very good. Cannot wait to visit again!!! We had a wonderful time!!!

+: The staff go above and beyond to meet your requests and make your stay enjoyable. The food and drinks were good, good quality and satisfying. -: Smaller pool and beach areas. This requires you to rush out early to get chairs or wait until some become available.
