The hotel is only 1 block away from the Lake Wobegon Trail. Very convenient location. They do have a bike rack, so we locked our bikes up at the hotel when we were not riding, and overnight. The Hotel was quiet Friday night, no one in pool or hot tub. Room was clean, bed is firm, pillows, okay. Breakfast in the morning was basic, which is what we expected. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. There is nothing to do in the town of Albany, all previous little stores are closed. Basic fast food joints around. Saturday night however was a totally different story.. There was a wedding party booked. We were woken up in the middle of the night about 1:30am by loud drunk people fighting in the parking lot. There was a drunk guy running around knocking on each door wanting his car keys. We did complain and the manager was very concerned and had lots of issue with the wedding party. They did apologize multiple times and gave us a discount. Other than the wedding party our trip was awesome. If you take the Lake Wobegon Trail, head up to Bowlus and eat at Jordies roadside cafe. The best little hidden gem. Great food, great atmosphere. And the 17.5 mile trail is flat and easy, for novice cruiser bikes like ours. (single speed)

We could not open our hotel room door. Other guest were experiencing similar problems too. Every time we tried to get into our room we needed the front desk to open the door, and they even had difficulty despite reissuing us a new card every time. The room was unreasonably cold when we checked in, and we had the front desk adjust the thermostat for us too. We slept with 2 extra blankets on each bed. The rooms were clean, bed was comfy, breakfast was nice, and the staff was very nice and apologized over and over for all the inconvenience. Unfortunately I was traveling with my 86 year old parents who were confused with the door locks and didn’t have a very restful night sleep.

The room was clean, the shower water to get hot was very slow, concerned about running so much water before hand. the staff were wonderful. Be nice if some rooms could have a recliner - because I have a bad leg and it needs elevation :)

Clean and friendly, pillows weren't very good and were sparse. There were no extra pillows available. Would be nice if there was a chair or another comfortable place to sit other then the bed.
