"It was such a fun hotel! My boyfriend was super impressed by the look, and location. I loved that when we arrived at night they were projecting Popeye on the wall and that's actually how we knew for sure our choice was the best! It made us feel nostalgic. The bathrooms were also a plus, they are so beautifully designed! I loved the free breakfast option too. As anytime we travel we are all about trying new foods. Which means most of our money is going towards food, so the breakfast was really a big factor into our choosing this hotel to shave some costs. The rooftop access was super cool to see around the city some before we went exploring together. One negative thing was the housekeeping staff was not very approachable, all other staff was absolutely amazing and quick to help. Oh, one thing that I think people may not love is they are right next to a railroad track and you can hear the trains throughout the night. However, I grew up next to the train tracks and I absolutely love the sound. I actually listen to rain and train sounds for sleep. So this was just another plus for me! Now this is not a hotel issue, but the railroad is above ground level, and there are underpasses throughout the city and there's one right next to the hotel. This is where a lot of homeless people will be sleeping and essentially using drugs. Just a caution to those who are more small city like myself. Overall, this was such a great choice for us and if we come back we are sure to stay again!"

"This was our second stay at the Grand. It's a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. The lounge staff is always busy but friendly and work with a sense of urgency to deliver great service. Next time I would skip adding the continental breakfast buffet and opt for menu items. Location and parking are convenient and safe. "
