The room was alright. Breakfast was mostly picked over and did not get replenished when items ran out. The milk for the cereal was sour. Upon informing the staff that the milk tasted sour, they told me it was likely because it was one percent. shortly after they told me this, the staff checked the date (per my request) and discovered it was in fact expired. Upon check out, I was told I would get my deposit back. Absentmindedly, I forgot that I paid the deposit in cash rather than my card. I left the property and realized that I paid cash. When I attempted to get my deposit back, they refused. When I contacted hotels.com they contacted the property, and the property proceeded to lie and say that my room was trashed. I went straight to sleep when I checked in, ate breakfast when I woke up, and then checked out. The only trash In the room was paper plates and cups from breakfast, neatly stacked on the table because it didn't fit in the trash can. As of this moment I don't see me getting any of my $50 back from the hotel or this third party, amd and I am extremely upset. This is not something I intend to let go until I either get my money back, or every place that this business is able to be reviewed knows the type of business this establishment does.
