Only things that could be improved is weighted shower curtain so it's not a continuous battle for it not to stick to you! Add a pillow top to the bed so it's not like sleeping on a board! Other than that it's wonderful.

We love this property but our last stay we booked a month prior to our arrival we booked a king suite and when we arrived they didn’t have our room available we could only get a standard double queen. We’ve stayed there a few times a year for the last 10 years and this was my only disappointment overall a great place to stay!!

Engagement upgrade promise forgotten about
I was celebrating my engagement with my fiance. I messaged them through Hotels.com asking for any and all upgrades to be implemented, and I got an email from the Heathman that night saying it was attached to my account. It was never brought up when we checked in, not even a congratulations!

Beautiful property and courteous staff. Unfortunately they oversold rooms for the week I was there and was informed the night of check in they had no accommodations for me. Given voucher for ‘sister property’ 1/2 mile down road. It was a Holiday Inn Express, definitely not of the same caliber as Heathman Lodge. Very disappointing

Rustic yet fully modern lodge bustling with events and family gatherings. Just three blocks from Vancouver Mall, 23-screen multiplex, giant food court and oodles of eateries, including the superb in-house restaurant Hudson’s. Wonderfully walkable — tree-lined streets and wide sidewalks — and as quiet and safe as an urban hotel can be.

This hotel was clean and well-decorated for the holidays. Our major complaints are in regards to the policies. We stayed for two nights but had no basic freshening up of our room. We were only given two K-cups of regular coffee, so on our second day we had none. Of course, we could have asked for them, but on vacation, it feels much nicer to have a few simple needs met without extra effort on our part. The bar closed early and they didn't allow alcohol purchases from their retail shop after 10 either. I can understand this during normal times, but it was December and the lobby/restaurant was still packed at that time. Perhaps they could consider holiday hours? Most importantly, after making our reservations, we received an ad from them with a special December deal. When we asked if we could take advantage of that, they told us we had to cancel our reservations and rebook.Thus, why did they send us the ad?
