Great location, but it is the only advanteage. Otherwise all negatives: poor selection for breakfast- really basic items, worse than other less rated hotels. No coffee or tea in the rooms, no water. When asked for tea or water, I had to pay for it. When called reception at midnight for hot water, I was instructed to come to reception and pick it up myself. The service is very poor for reated 4 star hotel! Hair dryer outdated, just blowing warm air, cannot make any hairstyle with it.

The hotel room was not only small but it felt like a closet and not for anyone who is claustrophobic. We literally felt like we had been given the attic as we had to climb a long set of stairs to get to the room. The room had a horrible smell of floral air freshener which was difficult to handle for someone with allergies. When we arrived the room still had someone’s used knee patches on the dresser, and the bathroom toilet was dirty. The bead spreads are rough, definitely unable to use as coverage. Great location, just not what we had hoped for of a Four star hotel! Some staff were very nice and some where not. I would probably not stay at this property again, i would definitely ask before booking a room here for a room with a window with a view, no stairs to climb and advise hotel if allergies.

Great hotel, right in the heart of Venice

Staff was exceptional and very nice, great location. Hotel was in classic Venetian style and had padded fabric walls! Location was excellent!!

over rated and over priced, absolutely disgusting

Pros: walking out the door as I left.
Cons: better rooms, better amenities, better staff.
Location: venice itself was amazing. spectacular overall vacation. only the room failed to live up to our expectations. I will never, ever stay here again
The staff was extremely rude. their attitude, matched, by the room itself. an over-price closet, WITHOUT WINDOWS, no fridge, no amenities, no view. and I paid top dollar!!! what absolute rip-off!!! I am urging everyone to avoid this place like the plague!!!

Pros: Decent location.

Great location, no complaints

My wife and I stayed here one night while traveling Italy. (We wish we had stayed longer -- Venice is wonderful!) No real complaints about this hotel. The room was on the smaller side, but that's no surprise for the location & price. Perfectly located on the Grand Canal, and the desk service was very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

Nice Hotel Near the Rialto Bridge

Pros: Key benefits of the hotel included: - The location - The size of the room (very large compared to some other hotels in Venice) - Friendly staff
Cons: Having a room with a view of the Grand Canal can be fairly loud.
Location: The Rialto Bridge and a number of cathedrals are all very close. The St. Mark's Square is about 10 minutes away.
Overall, the Rialto hotel was a very good place to stay. The location was very good as it was only steps away from the Rialto bridge. This can be very helpful since it is easy to get lost in Venice and there are many signs indicating how to get to the Rialto bridge. There are also a number of close boat stops that provide access to the hotel. We arrived early after finishing a cruise and the hotel staff was very good about getting a room for us as quickly as possible. The staff was also very helpful with giving dinner recommendations and answering questions that we had.
