Great value and location. However there are a lot of outdoor stairs to walk to get downhill to the main shopping streets. We enjoyed the extra exercise but it would be strenuous on others not so fit! Staff especially housekeepers were very friendly and accommodating. In room laundry facility didn’t work well so I was able to access the aparthotel’s own laundry room.

Great value stay!! Thank you!
Stayed 6 nights and had a fantastic stay. Reception and cleaning staff were brilliant and apartment hotel room was clean and comfortable with a huge comfy bed!! Loved the Tuatara coffee and other little touches in the room. Good security with the key fob. Shame that the gym and pool are not located on site but an excellent facility is just around the corner. Have recommended to others and would stay again if in Wellington. Thank you!!!

Safe and clean hotel in a great location
We needed access to a washer and dryer and Gilmer was one of the few that had units with laundry facilities. The location was excellent - walkable to restaurants and shopping. Onsite parking was a great bonus. The building is safe, clean and well maintained. It is a little dated and a has a city apartment feel to it and does not offer any plush hotel ambiance or amenities.
