In nine days of travel from Houston to Santa Fe and back this was the best hotel I stayed in. The staff were great, friendly, professional & helpful. The bed actually had a good firm mattress and a choice of firm or fluffy pillows and high quality sheets - excellent.

The property was ok. Staff was very nice. My tv didn’t work and I was given another room next door. The big disappointment was the amenities. With the Holiday Inn brand come certain expectations. I was surprised that I would have to ask in advance for housekeeping. When I made my coffee I’m used to having a couple of sweeteners and a stir stick in the package. There was one sugar, one sweetener and no stir stick. I tried to stir with the sweetener packet - FAIL!!!! I did find extra items when I went downstairs for breakfast so I stocked up for the room. This may seem like small issues but the care supplied by Holiday Inn in the past is one of the main reasons my husband and I invest in Holiday Inn. I realize that the environmental factors are different now which has had an effect on the service industry. It sure hasn’t changed the prices positively! Less service with more expense!
