Checked in. When they took my credit card they charged me for the room even though I paid for a month ago through Travelocity. Then they told me I should have my money back in a few days.

OK hotel but

At the last minute I decided to book this hotel,it was a hair more expensive than another one I was looking at but looks like it had been recently renovated. Parts of the room were renovated but not the tub area. A bit of mildew in some of the caulking and a few some baby sugar ants liked the bathroom as well. We got in super late and left early so it wasn't a big deal but I kind of wish I went with the other place. Desk and breakfast staff were very friendly. My daughter was disappointed they didn't have the standard hotel breakfast Belgium waffle station and I was hoping for bacon and found turkey ham. Not bad just wish I had gone for the little less expensive option that was probably a comparable experience.

Beautiful Room, Not So Great Service

Pros: Clean and nice room
Cons: Front desk staff
Location: Braum's ice cream, movie theater
We came to this hotel after a long drive and so I kept the car running with my 2 daughters and wife in the car to check in quickly and get to sleep in a comfortable bed. As I approached the front desk, LaShawna was about ready to assist me when the phone rang. I waited patiently for a minute and realized that the phone call was going to take awhile. As any good hotel attendant knows - put the call on hold and take care of the people in front of you. I waited for 10-15 minutes while the customer on the phone inquired about everything and anything. I was then given attention to after the phone call and LaShawna actually tried to joke with me about not being mad that she took so long on the phone. It seemed very unprofessional to me. Other than that - the room was fantastic and clean and we had a good experience. The pool was not as nice as a lot of the other hotels we have stayed at, so my 4-year old didn't enjoy it as much.

Nice Room, nasty front desk clerk

Cons: Fire your rude front desk clerk. She clearly dislikes working with people. The other clerk was friendly and actually welcomed the guests!
Location: There is a huge bowling alley and video game arcade next to the hotel. That place also had go-cart racing, the kids loved it!
One night stay with kids on a long road trip. Front desk clerk was incredibly rude from the first instant of contact. Slender Asian woman with long black hair working behind the desk was icy, condescending and uninformative. She also acted disapproving when her quiet voice was not immediately understood by our tired family (maybe we were a bit deafened by road noise, but at least we were polite - clerk was not). I honestly almost turned around and left. There are a lot of options for places to stay in Wichita. She told us next to nothing about the hotels' amenities or where to find our room. I was surprised one surly employee could turn me off the way she did, but even with a fairly brief contact like check-in (with a reservation and pre-paid), but this person could lose an organization many customers! However, the rooms were new looking and spacious, with a great lay-out for a family of four to stay in. Breakfast was included and tasted good. We slept well in the quiet room.

Springfield Suites in Wichita, KS

It was very nice. The staff was very nice and the rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection to choose from.

This is a Very elegant hotel

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
The rooms was spacious and very modern and updated. The staff were helpful and nice. We got free breakfast for the whole family which is one of the reasons we picked this hotel. My kids loved the pool and we loved the price! The only mishap in the experience is we were traveling with small children and the softball team that was staying down the hall were up late and we heard the doors slam a lot. I think that was just something that we had to deal with and we did.

Very Modern

This hotel is very modern and has amenities that were important to a young family. We enjoyed our stay and we did like the hotel location. We would stay here again!
