First the good, this place is literally across the street from Winter Park, we chose to drive our car to the WP parking lot and take their free shuttle to the WP base area. Less than a 5 minute drive. There is also free town shuttle service that pick you up at the lodge if you prefer. So the not too good. Nothing around the lodge to walk to after skiing to get drinks, shop or have dinner. The town of Winter Park is about 5 miles down the road. The pictures on web site are not current, this place is showing it's age. The pool/hot tub area was cold, only 1 of the hot tubs was working and the pool way to cold to ever think of going in for a relaxing swim after skiing. Our room was decent, I was expecting a little more updated room for what we paid but again this place is showing it's age. The common areas of lodge were run down and appeared dirty, badly needs updating. I don't normally review my stays but hope that others are aware of the "not so good" of this place so you won't be dissapointed like I was when we checked in.

Nothing i liked, not a good place. Choice Hotels ought to be ashamed as this property is not good at all. Kitchen closed, hot tub not working, sauna not working, no usb ports, i asked for a manager three times. No response

Hello Robert, Thank you are the feedback. We are trying to keep the restaurant open as much as possible and are restructuring the staff so this will not happen again. Our pool and hot tub are open again after being closed due to guest damage and misuse. If you would like to speak with a manger, please give us a call anytime.

Room thermostat didn’t work. Had to change rooms after check-in Charged me 100$ deposit twice. Which I believe is illegal. Still haven’t been refunded.

The property is very old and seems to be falling apart. The floors are filthy. Not sure when the last time they vacuumed was. The hot tub water was a tan color. That being said the room appeared clean and well kept, except the floor was very dirty. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the food was decent. I would stay here again but it would not be my first choice.

It was very close to the Winter Park ski resort. The view from our room was beautiful. Free parking and breakfast provided each day. The restaurant on site was excellent. Rental shop on site was very helpful as well.

I don’t know that I can stay here again. The front desk staff was nice but this hotel was way outdated I my opinion. The beds were super flimsy, there was mold around the caulking of the tub, the room was super small and breakfast consisted of pre packaged muffins and breakfast burritos you can microwave. There was a consistent marijuana smell as well on the lower levels. I think with updating a lot of the rooms and such this can be a great space, but as of current, I will not be staying again.
