It was pleasant but during the power outage the backup did not kick in maybe if it was tested prior this may have not happen. pillows too soft. Staff were very accommodating

Travelocity should stop booking handicapped Rooms
I book my reservation through travelocity and twice they book me in a Handicap Room without telling me that. It is not fear to a Guest that will show up at a hotel to find out that a normal guy is in a room that is beneficial to a handicap person. If a police find out that I am Normal and park my Car in a handicap spot,they will give me a big ticket,so please you travelocity please stop this practice Hence you make these reservation,it's hard for the hotel to change it

Solid 3 star hotel
The layout of the Jr. Suite was great. We were able to have a private area to sleep in without the peering eyes of our kids who were on the pullout sofa. Plenty of towels, warm comforter, got the last 2 pillows they had from the front desk (hotel was sold out) there were not any extras in the room for the sofa bed. Room was ok decor wise, wallpaper peeling at seams, hard bed, small tvs (32 inch). Curtains kept the room very dark at night. We were right next to the elevator but we didn't hear noise from it, or from people coming and going. Only one ice machine was working in the hotel (2nd floor, which we were not staying on).
I wish they would have had a few more choice at breakfast. They had oatmeal, egg & cheese premade (or microwaved) omelets, sausage links, a couple sweet rolls/bagels/bread options, make your own waffles, yogurt, and some fruit and juice options. Bacon, grit packages, and maybe some salsa to throw on the eggs would have been a nice addition, or the microwave sandwiches would have been great. They did have cookies when we arrived (7:30pm) and brown bag breakfasts to go when when checked out.
Didn't hit the pool/hot tub, but it was good size.
If arriving from off the highway make sure to turn on the little road after the shopping center, but before the actual highway entrance.
Good location. Near Mt. Vernon, the outlet mall, and Ikea. Neighborhoods nearby a bit sketchy, hotel felt safe though.

Clean & Comfortable
Pros:Clean, comfortable, family-friendly, fitness center, indoor pool, free breakfast.
I had a great experience staying at this hotel. It seemed to be occupied by mostly families with young kids, but that could've been because it was the day after Christmas. The room itself was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy. The fitness center was small and simple, but all I needed. Except the treadmill wasn't working. Breakfast was good! I was happy the buffet included real oatmeal, instead of instant. Staff was polite and helpful. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars to staff is because they weren't incredibly attentive at the front desk. Seemed distracted by something behind the wall. Overall I thought this was a great place to stay and would definitely recommend it!
