I booked this hotel for a fun weekend in Dublin fully expecting it to be noisy. I was on the first floor and right on midnight, it was calm and I got my sleep. Friendly staff and clean room. I'd return if the aim was a fun weekend in Dublin

Staff at reception were amazing and so helpful. 5 stars for them! Could not do enough for us. Excellent location in the heart of everything. However, our room was very dusty and required some minor maintenance . There was visible dust everywhere which really put me off- light shade was covered, beds, tables. Bed was comfy and the room was warm .

I could not of asked for anything more. I spent my birthday here and Jennifer could not of done more to make this super special. Thank you so much!! Room was immaculate, staff was unbelievably friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and cooked amazingly. I could not recommend this hotel enough. Thank you so much again, you were simply brilliant!

The noise is bad. The hotel itself is really nice.
I agonized over booking this hotel when planning this trip. I ultimately chose it because of the proximity to everything and because they had rooms with two beds - a double bed for the parents (us) and a twin bed for our daughter (age 7). I read reviews about the noise and just hoped for the best. But the noise was actually terrible. On weekends, it doesn't stop till 2 am. Weeknights, every single weeknight, it goes till midnight. Even earplugs don't keep the noise out. So here's what I suggest after staying here 5 nights: If you're coming to the Temple Bar area to party and stay out late and be part of that scene, it's the perfect hotel for you. If you plan to sleep earlier than midnight, avoid this hotel. One other thing. I had read reviews also about the water issue in the showers. And we did experience it. Each shower we took, scalding water would suddenly spew from the shower head about 10-12 times. It's actually quite dangerous. You have to jump out of the way to avoid being burned. My parents were also there, on the 4th floor, and didn't experience this. But for our room on the 3rd floor, the shower situation was scary with that hot water. Hotel really needs to get this fixed asap. Other than those two issues, it's great. The staff is wonderful, the hotel is super clean and comfortable and spacious. I wouldn't stay here again b/c of the noise, but for people just looking to party and hang out late, this hotel is a great option.
