We had an amazing experience here and will definitely be back! Mackenzie was a sweetheart when she served us the most delicious breakfast. The attention to detail and the historical significance of this hotel was amazing.

The plantings were lovely. Our room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was delicious, and we appreciated the range of choices. We dud not try the jacuzzi tub, but noticed the tile on the bathroom counter needed repair. Other than that we had a lovely stay. Thank you.

A little gem
A rare find and pleasant surprise. The inn is very well appointed and in excellent condition. The staff were very warm, welcoming, and accomodating. The breakfast was very good. My wife and I enjoyed our stay!

Overnight stay in Winston-Salem
The Shaffner Inn was a lovely place to stay. Check-in and check-out were very easy and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine! The staff was very communicative before hand. Our room was very comfy, though it was in the basement level, but very roomy and the beds were super comfortable. We both had the traditional breakfast, which was average, and service in the restaurant was a little slow, but otherwise a perfectly fine meal. I would highly recommend staying here. Great place in a central location for the town.

Kelly was so kind to accommodate us. McKenzie was so sweet at breakfast. The inn was beautiful, clean and so close to historic Salem. So glad we stayed here.
