An amazing hotel!! It is beautiful, and engulfed in history...... but The Bar is closed on sundays, the Resturant is 3 star at the best... and there needs to be some attention to details in cleaning...

So much historic visual potential BUT Musty smell throughout including lobby and meeting room levels Room service guests dirty dishes and trays left in hallways for 2 days (Reported 4 times to staff) 0nly 3 electrical outlets in room Inappropriate furnishings No towel racks No cover on toilet No room on vanity Cheap and undersized bed linens Had to request cleaning service and towels everyday as guest Housekeeping set thermostat to 80 degrees and exited Hotel restaurant has limited menu; slow service; poorly prepared food; inadequately cleaned serving pieces; musty smell; tea not served before 11 am DEVELOPER OBVIOUSLY RAN OUT OF FUNDS! SAD

It appears you were not happy with your accommodations and you made that clear during your entire stay. We appreciate your feedback and hope that you do give us another try.

The hotel is a gorgeous example of the grand hotels of years past. The Staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable. The Bentley Room restaurant was a different story. The waiter was prompt and courteous, the starter of corn fritters was very fresh and tasty. But I am not sure what day or week the duck breast and brisket were cooked, but it was definitely not that day. A microwaved disaster. The Chef should unplug his microwave. The meal was a great disappointment to what was an otherwise wonderful experience.
