Last week of my stay I ran my card at the front desk for the usual $1000. I was called in my room a few days later and told I had a past due balance and they needed more money. I told them that I would let them run the card again but it was not seven days and I would do it on the seventh day. They called again before the seven days and demanded more money. I authorize $500 to be run on my card. Checked my bank statement the next day and not only 500 admin charged to my card but also another $850. Two days later they called me and said they needed another $1200 or they would throw me out. Front desk person got very mean and rude. Went to talk to the manager and she insisted that even though the thousand dollars showed on my bank statement as posted she insisted that with five years banking experience that was only an authorization and they never took the money! I called my bank right there in front of her gave her my phone and she got into an argument with the banking representative saying that the bank made a mistake. I went back to my room and within 30 minutes the police were banging on my door and the front desk manager was being abusive and yelling at me. I wasn’t given a long enough time to get all my stuff out of the room and had to leave some stuff behind. I accidentally left my medication in the room and when I called two hours later the front desk manager said I could not have it back. Pleasant façade but the people are horrible.

Nice place

Check in was wonderful room comfortable. Bed was great. Breakfast was more than acceptable. But no muffins were offered at breakfast We thought that was odd. Mattress on the hide-a-bed was thin and seems to have seen better days. Room towels, while usable were very stiff and rough, we hated the towels. In room coffee while drinkable not very tasty. Overall it was a very pleasant nights stay. I would stay again should need be.

No sympathy

Showed up at 2 am after a long day at Disneyland with two sleeping kids in the car. Would not honor my reservation without the card I held the room with. Offered a cash deposit in leu of card I did not have. No help whatsoever.. Drove 3 hours in la until I could find a vacancy.

Nice suite

It was a very well appointed suite with an equipped kitchenette, which is rare. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, with a good fold out bet for the 2 kids. Everything was clean and in good shape at the hotel, which I would expect for the higher price. The breakfast was decent, and better than many with hot food including scrambled eggs, potatoes, make your own waffles, and other standard things like cereal, oatmeal, muffins, etc. my only significant complaint is that they used all styrofoam plates and plastic flatware, which is incredibly wasteful and pointless.
