The gentleman whho checked us in was lovely. The room was average, a little run down like the bathroom door looked like it had been eaten by a beaver. When we checked into our room we immediately noticed a nasty odor, like stinky carpet. Then when it was time for bed (10pm) we laid down and could hear out neighbors above us thumping/jumping around AND our neighbors next to us. Kids screaming, shouting, running and being very inconsiderate and loud. I finally called the front desk close to midnight as it didn't let up and we couldn't get to sleep. The girl at the front desk was less than helpful and couldn't care a less. After another 30 mins with no change, I went to the front desk now after midnight, and the same girl was pretty rude and had zero desire to help to try and rectify the situation. She told me they are entitled to have a good time, everyone is a paying customer!!! I was shocked at her responses and lack of care to try to help make our stay better. We ended up having to play LOUD white noise on my phone all night to drown out the ruckess. Will never stay there again should I ever find myself in GA. And will be weary of any other La Quinta's in the future. Nothing worse than trying to get a good nights sleep after a day of travel and being kept up by noise past a respectable time.

When I checked in and went into my room, the first thing I noticed was that it smelled like sweaty gym socks. After settling in, my fiancée noticed a german cockroach running across the bathroom countertop. I went and killed it and noticed several dead ones all along the floor in the bathroom. Absolutely disgusting. I proceeded to go talk to the front desk and asked them if they had a roach problem to which they said “yeah kind of”. Instead of offering me a discount or refund, the employee said “I don’t know why they put you in that room” and moved me from floor one to floor six. After moving everything from one room to the next, the new room smelt better. After settling in I noticed a set of used eyelashes sitting at the base of the light fixture on the desk. Are you kidding me?! I was moved to another room that wasn’t even cleaned. We spent our last two nights at a family friends house instead of our hotel because of how disgusted we were. I still haven’t got my security deposit back yet either. Would not recommend people stay here.

Well I got in pretty late like 10 in the evening I was only staying one night and they charge a $175 hold on my card which is ridiculous And then I had to walk all the way back to the back elevator because the one in the front Elevator was broken and I was there six months ago and the same elevator was broken but I had to walk to the back of the hotel to get on the back elevator that’s sad I won’t be back to the La Quinta Inn and suites
