"Catalonia is where we choose to say for the simple reason that the facility is beautiful & the Staff is warm & inviting. They all treat us as family & you are left with the desire to return without a doubt. The Royal side where we stayed is adults only & the beauty of that is we have access to all restaurants & activities of both the Royal & family side. The beach is gorgeous! We usually stay out @ the Catalonia in Punta Cana, but they’ve had seaweed issues on that side & although they do an excellent job cleaning it it out, I choose to explore this side of the island. I’m so glad I did! The beach area is larger than other resorts nearby & the water is crystal clear & simply breathtaking! The Resort’s entertainment team is great & they check in with you & invite you to yoga, dance lessons on the beach and/or participation in nightly activities. They are genuine & lots of fun. The food is great. Some say not too many options, but I disagree. I ordered a meal & didn’t care for it & simply ordered something else. That’s the advantage of an all inclusive. The rooms are clean and you have everything you need including: shampoo, conditioner, bath gel & lotion. No need for bringing a hairdryer… it’s all there. Showers are marvelous. Needlessly to say we love it here & will return soon. Do not hesitate to book this place. On a final note, please remember to “TIP”. They work hard & go out of their way to serve you. Be kind & show some gratitude, trust me it will make a difference. "
