Facilities were nice and their were lots of amenities, however the value for the price wasn’t worth it compared to other places I’ve stayed on Cape Cod.

Unfortunately our stay was not as great as we would of liked. At check in the lady never told us how housekeeping worked, how to get towels etc. We didn’t realize how far the villages are from the main part of hotel. The villages we stayed in are older and it was not really clean. My husband had to vacuum himself during our 5 night stay. The Linx restaurant there was eh. The nice outdoor restaurant at mansion was also eh for food (service was better then food). The beach is small grassy, my kids played in the sand so it was fine, a cute cocktail was $18 (frozen mojito). At the Arbor pool we weren’t allowed to bring any drinks/food, my boys liked the size of pool though. We were first ones there and we had to go to 4 different tables to find a clean one (looks like never cleaned from night before). I have been visiting the Cape my whole life, probably won’t go back to this specific hotel sad to say.

We stayed at Ocean Edge Villages in July 2020 for 5 nights. The apartment was spacious and clean. The grounds are amazing. Also very convenient access to the CCRR bike path. Due to COVID-19 many amenities were not available for use: gym was closed, spa was closed, no evening activities like smores on the beach or movie under the starts outside. There is a shuttle to bring guests from villages to the beach but we've seen that shuttle only twice on 2 different occasions, very early in the morning like 7am and very late in afternoon 3 pm. The shuttle stops running at 4pm. They say they provide newspaper daily, I have not seen it. As you can see the services and amenities were limited yet resort charges full amount resort fee. For this reason I gave 4 stars or "Pleasing". In my opinion if resort provides LIMITED services, the resort fee should be reduced accordingly.
