"They advertise as having Wi-Fi available to their guests. However, unless you are inside their main building you do not have a signal and you're so far away from town that your cell signal is very spotty.
AC in the room would not blow out cold air. I called the front desk and she informed me that she would contact maintenance and have them come down. No one showed up the 4 days we were there. Other guests also complained about this.
The bathtub/shower had mold. I did take pictures to show.
I realize we're out in the woods and it's a rustic lodge but they make the pictures online look a lot better than it is in person. It's a nice place to stay if you don't mind spiders and giant spiderwebs. They're on every light at night. Our room had a great view of the lake, which was very nice. It did have a nice porch to sit on. But the room does not have a refrigerator or microwave.
2 levels but no elevator; just stairs down to your room so plan your luggage accordingly.
The restaurant isn't bad but don't go by the menu online because it's wrong. We had gone to breakfast in hopes of trying their omelets but were told by the waitress that we "haven't offered that in almost a year". She said she'd make a note to tell them to take it down. So, we were disappointed. But the breakfast wasn't bad, just pricy.
Do your homework. They don't tell you anything about the fitness center, pool, game room or anything else they offer unless you ask about it."
