Upon checking in at the Sleep Inn, I was informed by staff that I would be required to permit them to make a copy of my driver's license. I find this requirement to be extremely intrusive, and shows a disregard for my privacy and of my private and personal information. I do give the staff credit for contacting the GM to try to resolve this problem, but the GM would not budge from this stated policy. I refused to allow them to copy my ID and cancelled my reservation on the spot. I then went to a Holiday Inn and asked if they required making a copy of my ID to rent me a room, to which they replied, "Of course not!" In my many years of renting hotel rooms, I've never been asked to permit the hotel to make a copy of my ID. It seems to me that many Americans are getting used to the idea of having their privacy violated, and are now allowing private companies to have free reign over their personal information. I'm not one of them. I will never rent a room from a Sleep Inn property as long as they continue this practice.

1. Your beds are toooooo high for short person. 2, We didn't to use or AARP Cards 3. We weren't able to let them know we need a Handicap Accessible room when we made our reservation 4. I need to dry my t-shirt and the cost was total to much. 5. They to check their 2nd floor hallway because they loop in the floor. If need to be we stay at another Sleep inn & Suites, but never stay at supper 8 or red roof hotel.
