"It was a one night stay. The location was convenient as St Michaels (it is a close to water, little quiet town). It was after the long weekend, so the hotel was very quiet, and I had a nice stay. "

"Great place. Very clean well appointed rooms. We had a bay view which was nice. The bummer was that the Rod n Reel Restaurant was closed. One of the main reasons we went. I guess they are going to tear down and replace it. Dining options were limited in Chesapeake Beach area. The hotel did have two choices. The 1936 restaurant was good. The band they had at the band shell on Friday night was outstanding."

"We always choose this hotel for every visit to this area, not interested in saving a buck or two somewhere, we are comfortable here. Yes the property is "dated" but for us, the beds are comfortable, the linens clean as a whistle, as is the bathroom. Those are the most important parts. A nice continental breakfast and having coffee all day in the lobby is a big perk for us to be able to grab a cup as we go in/out through out the day/afternoon. Manager Gretchen is really on top of her game in attending to many facets in the hotel. The only cons we see are the internet is not consistently strong and the tubs are a rather large step up/ down; there is one safety grab bar in the front but it would be a real good idea to place one in the back as well. Preventing one slip/accident would be a huge win for them. Listening corporate?? Great place, we always enjoy staying here. "
