We liked that they had lots of picnic tables and some gas grills in a grove of trees. We were disappointed because our "non-smoking" room reeked of cigarette smoke. Also, the thermostat didn't work and baked us until we finally just turned it off.

Thank you for your feedback. All of our rooms are non smoking and we apologize for someone not following the rules. The thermostat was checked and worked properly. Some of the radiators heat very fast and need to be set at a lower temperature. Thank you and have a great weekend.

Toilet didn’t work. Towels were wet in the towel rack like they weren’t dried or used already. Location to our venue was great but honestly wasn’t worth the price paid.

Dirty! Check in is 3, got there at 3:40, checked in, went to the room and the maid was still in there. She said a few minutes, and over 20 minutes later she was done. Misunderstanding at front desk...fine. However, powder make up on bathroom floor, shower was not cleaned: 2 plastic bottle caps left in there, what looked like toothpaste on shower floor. Coffee pot did not even look rinsed. Electric heater cover was off and on the floor. Outdated is fine, but this was flat out dirty. The kids immediately complained about the smell, which was stale smoke and perfume, possibly the maid’s but definitely people smoked in room. Allergies or sensitive to smells....keep looking. Stayed here many years ago and had a mouse in a trap under the sink, was told they are fine now and decided to give them and the new owners a shot....never again!!

Lots of outdoor space for picnics and swimming. Room sparse but clean. Shower tile new. Large refrigerator. Good ice machine near to room.
Overall, not fancy but comfortable.

Pleasant hotel, good location for our needs.
Pros:Easy to get to. Not noisy despite being close to Garden State.
Cons:Air conditioning had a mildew smell, but didn't really need so turned it off.
Location:On or near major roads. Many nature preserves close by.
Room was fine, but not luxurious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
