How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Daejeon

If you like the thought of spending more time at the airport restaurants and less time navigating your way through security on your way to Daejeon, just follow these handy tips:

  • Have your boarding pass and travel ID within easy reach. They'll be the first things you'll be asked to produce by airport security staff.
  • USB sticks, wallets and mobile phones must be put in a tub for X-raying. If you enter the body scanner with any of these items, you'll be requested to turn back and remove them.
  • Electronic devices such as phones, laptops and cameras need to be put through the X-ray machine separately. Make sure they're within easy reach.
  • Face cream, toothpaste and other toiletry items in gel, liquid or cream form need to be stored in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters). They also need to fit in a 1-quart (1-liter) clear zip-lock plastic bag.
  • Undo your shoelaces before approaching the body scanner. Depending on the style of shoes you're wearing, security may tell you to remove them.
  • Pack any pocketknives or other pointy items in your checked luggage. Security personnel don't allow these aboard the aircraft.
