Jul 1, 2019

It was great flying with PAL

Feb 4, 2019

It was fun flight

Nov 23, 2018

I wish i could have checked in once at Hue. I had to check in again at Ho Chi Minh City, and the live was long and slow.

Nov 15, 2018

There was a disruptive child on the plane. She screamed and cried at the top of her lungs for 20-30 minutes. The cabin crew did a good job of requiring her to buckle up despite not getting any help from her guardian. If the disruptive passenger was an adult she would have been removed from the plane. I think children although they are minors should also be removed from the plane if they can’t calm down in a reasonable amount of time. They can be rescheduled to a later flight when they can remain calm. Why are there exceptions for children because they are minors?

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Ho Chi Minh City

If you like the idea of spending more time at the airport restaurants and less time moving through security on your way to Ho Chi Minh City, just follow these helpful tips:

  • Ensure your travel ID and boarding pass are easily accessible. You'll need to show them straightaway.
  • USB sticks, wallets and power banks are to be put in a tray for X-raying. If you pass through the body scanner with these items, you'll be asked to turn back and remove them.
  • Electronic goods such as laptops, cameras and phones will need to be sent through the X-ray machine separately. Make sure they're within easy reach.
  • When it comes to flying with gels or liquids, each passenger is allowed a quart-sized clear resealable bag to keep containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
  • The airport security will likely tell you to remove your shoes for the body scanner. Pick a pair that you can take off easily. There's nothing worse than having to do up your laces again and again.
  • Some destinations have stringent biosecurity laws. Think about where you're off to and whether or not you're permitted to fly with fresh fruit.
