Overall happy with the flight. It is a budget airline, so no real frills. I did appreciate the USB charging outlets. However, the was no wifi which it was advertised as having free wifi. The flight attendant said the "wifi box must need to be charged." Oh well.

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Madison

Your adventure to Madison begins the minute you've completed all the security checks. Here are some useful tips to help you pass through quickly:

  • Be sure you know the whereabouts of your passport and boarding pass. You don't want to hold up the line when you're asked to produce them.
  • You'll have to put your tunes on pause for a few minutes. Headphones must be removed and put in a tray for X-raying. The same goes for items such as belts and heavy jackets.
  • Electronic goods such as laptops, cameras and phones will need to be sent through the X-ray machine separately. Make sure they're easily accessible.
  • When you approach the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to place all gels, liquids and creams in a separate tray for inspection. Make sure they're all stored in containers smaller than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • The airport security may instruct you to take off your shoes before entering the body scanner. Choose a pair that you can slip off easily. There's nothing more tiresome than having to do up your laces again and again.
  • The list of prohibited items is forever changing. Check with your carrier's website to understand what is not allowed on board their flights.
