Flight Review

May 16, 2020

Great airline and friendly

Mar 21, 2020

I had to go to an agent to reserve a seat, paid $10.00 extra for an isle seat, and the plane had so many empty seats that I could just have changed? Only problem I had with my American flight!

Mar 18, 2020

Even in the midst of a pandemic, all was well. Easy flight on time.

Mar 18, 2020

Didn't like paying additional fees for seats - That seems like a bit underhanded :(

Mar 18, 2020

Flight attendants were wonderful. BA 185, March 16. Particularly AnnMarie. She went above and beyond!!

Mar 18, 2020

I used at cap to check in and had to pay a $30 baggage fee!?!

Mar 17, 2020

Our bags got lost coming from Newark to Richmond, but they did deliver them at 10:30 at night.

Mar 17, 2020

Wi-Fi access should be better, no way to connect.

Mar 17, 2020

First time using Travelocity to plan our Florida trip. Everything is going great accept the stupid flu.

Mar 16, 2020

Was confusing boarding process. So many groups and none of the signs said “basic” like my boarding pass. Other airlines have easier boarding processes.

Mar 16, 2020

Good flight

Mar 16, 2020

Customer service on/off plane a 10! the only complaint I have is the seats hardly recline, and United and you guys should give your customers the piece of mind that our flights are still confirmed and would have no problem leaving!!! I was down to the wire before Argentina was going to stop all planes in and out of airport this Tuesday (for Coronavirus). Got no "piece of mind from you guys or United" I get a confirmation 24h before leaving. Not all people can call out of there respective countries. Tried calling United in Argentina, but impossible. My vacation was a disaster of nerves, and you guys and United didn't care to tell me anything until 24h! Was down visiting my wife!

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Newark

Make your journey to Newark that little bit easier by following these practical security tips:

  • Airport security will expect to see your travel ID and boarding pass at the checkpoint. Put them in an accessible place, so they're ready for inspection.
  • Be aware that belts with metal buckles can set off the body scanner's alarms. If you're wearing one, you may be told to step back and remove it before proceeding.
  • Ensure your phone, laptop and other electronic devices are within reach. These items need to be sent through the X-ray machine separately.
  • When it comes to flying with liquids and gels, every passenger is permitted a quart-sized clear zip-lock bag to store containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
  • Untie your shoelaces in preparation for entering the body scanner. Depending on the type of shoes you're wearing, security may tell you to take them off.
  • Pack any pocketknives or other dangerous items in your checked luggage. Security personnel don't permit these in carry-on baggage.
