How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Ocala

These clever tips and hints about airport security checks will save you lots of time and energy on your trip to Ocala:

  • Ensure your boarding pass and travel ID are not hard to access. You'll be required to show them straightaway.
  • Belts, coins and wrist watches are to be put in a tray for X-raying. If you enter the body scanner with any one of these items, you'll be turned around and requested to remove them.
  • Make sure your phone, laptop and other electronic devices are within reach. These items need to be put through the X-ray machine in separate bins.
  • When you get to the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to put all creams, liquids and gels in a separate tub for scanning. Make sure they're all packed in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • Airport security personnel will likely ask you to take off your shoes before entering the body scanner. Choose a pair that slip off easily. There's nothing more tiresome than having to do up your laces again and again.
  • Some countries have strict quarantine laws. Consider where you're headed to and whether or not you can fly with fruit and meats.
