The hotel is so close to so many amenities. A easy walk from the city centre, the area was busy, well lit and seemed safe enough.
The rooms are nicely decorated. The room was warm on arrival. Tea and coffee making facilities, a good hairdryer (not one of those slow ones attached to the wall) an iron, ironing board , plenty of towels.
Check in was quick, I was surprised to be asked for ID, I have been asked abroad but never here in Ireland (I have an Irish address).
The reception area is nicely decorated with plenty of tourist info leaflets.
They have done a lovely job in keeping on par with other hotels for appearance and facilities while preserving the charm and character of a traditional Dublin House.
Wifi is available. No parking though. I left the car at the Red Cow and got the LUAS in.
I didn't dine there so I can't comment on the food.
I would definitely consider booking in here again if I need to stay in Dublin.
