This is my 3rd consecutive year visiting Green harbor in early July. The natural setting on Green pond, complimentary kayaks, excellent hospitality, closeness to beaches, Martha's Vineyard ferry and woods hole are my reasons.

Room was extremely small with connecting door that did not feel secure. Felt uncomfortable entire stay due to connecting door. Beach was not usable. Old dried seaweed all over that had not been raked. With minimal work beach would have been very nice. Staff was excellent when toilet broke. Very quick fix.

Nice enough/pet friendly

Pros: Staff was very nice. Location is good for boaters.
Cons: Beach area could be cleaned up a bit. Empty flower pots collecting water and weeds could be so pretty if planted.
We had a quick stay with adult children. Location is good. The rooms are clean and functional. The pool was great and we enjoyed a quick swim. Towels/rest room near the pool would be helpful. Main reason I am writing a review is so that future guests will know that nearly every room had a pet - both dog and cat. We have allergies in the family, so I wish I had known.

I felt like I was home

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, relaxing, feels like home
Cons: none
The people who welcome you treat you as if it was your home. When I arrived they had volleyball, bean bags, and told me I could use the row boats and paddle boats and time I felt like it. They upgraded me and my wife to a more exclusive room by the waterfront rather than a room with no waterfront. Opening the doors I found a quaint mid sized room with two nice beds. For me really the beds are what makes or breaks a room and I expected them to be standard but they were luxurios. There was a mini fridge and a microwave, a tv and closet. The bathroom was very nice and we had a fenced in patio which overlooked the pools which are heated through columbus day and water behind it. I personally would give this waterfront lodging five stars because in every way it fit our needs.
