Don’t get your hopes up! The room was dirty, the hot tub did not work, the pool was ice cold, the breakfast Buffett was pancakes and yogurt, we were not able to get extra pillows so we slept on rolled up blankets that the front desk gave us. We will never go back.

The hot tub is currently broken. The only reason I chose this hotel was so my boys could play in the pool and I could relax in the hot tub. When amenities are out of order, I wish the app or the property would let us know. May 16, 2021

I chose this hotel because I needed a place that was pet friendly and i also wanted a hot tub in the room. I reserved the king suite 2 days ahead of time but was down graded to a regular queen room with no hot tub due to having my dog. No where did it say the suites weren't pet friendly. I was told it was too late to cancel my reservation.

Good location for us; good breakfast and nice variety to choose from. Room was very clean and comfortable. **The mattress pad was very loose and we did have to remake the bed each evening and morning. Those things are hard under any circumstance but so you are aware.

Anonymous, I apologize for the inconvenience of the parking lot not being kept clean. We hire an outside service to maintain our lot. Unfortunately, with getting over 20+ inches of snow in a 24 hour period and with all the cars parked in our lot there wasn't much of an option for the snow removal company to do until all the cars were either moved or departed. I do hope though, that the rest of your stay was a pleasant one and that the staff greeted you with a smile.

Would not recommend

Very noisy! Breakfast area is directly below some of the rooms. Wakened by dogs barking and/or small children every morning. Toilet would not flush... Each day we were told it was fixed to then return to the hotel from being out all day, and toilet still not functioning. Should have called in a plumber the first day. Got comments that there was no problem before us, and I said it could have been a small child putting something in there. But I was told that the second floor was for business and there weren't children on that floor... But there were several small children on the floor the entire 3 day stay that we were there. They did refund us $10 per night. Everyone was very nice... Just wish our stay was. We won't go back.

Clean and absolutely accommodating in all ways

Pros: Extremely easy to do business with. Phone is answered promptly by a real person who speaks clear English. Very accommodating and clean facilities.
Cons: Kleenex in rooms could be softer. With that being my only suggestion, that place is pretty darn good! Important to know there is no elevator though.
Location: Not much in walking distance except a cafe, pub, and a few fast food places including Subway, Burger King, and McDonald's.
Not a fancy place but the condition and cleanliness of all facilities plus the most friendly and accommodating staff, including reception and housekeeping, were wonderful. Rates are very fair for the amenities offered including a large pool, free wi-if, and a decent breakfast served until 10:00 am. Check in and out was a breeze. For these reasons, I highly recommend the Eau Claire Americinn!

Good experience

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
Hotel was clean. Room was very clean--even smelled clean. Pool was small but the hot tub was great. Very quiet considering the number of guests we saw at breakfast the next mroning. Close enough to UWEC campus and very affordable. Breakfast was very good and staff kept the breakfast area clean and well-stocked..
