Pretty dirty, poorly maintained, the room smells like mold and mildew. It is a scary place and there are all kinds of weird people here. I’m leaving without staying.

Location was fine

I can't even give this Motel half of star. The carpet was so disgusting I wouldn't walk on it barefoot. There were at least six different electrical appliances plugged into one wall outlet. A definite fire hazard. The hotel has no sprinkler system and whether or not the fire detectors work is questionable. The TV remote did not work. There was a coffee machine but no pot. There were four of us in the room as reserved and there were three towels, 2 wash cloths and one hand towel for 4 people. The fan in the bathroom was so covered with dust ordered I don't think it could be effective. I definitely would never ever recommend this hotel to anybody I liked. The Wi-Fi is free because it's practically non-existent. I have never stayed in such a dump of a motel in my life. I was trying to save money and with that was a mistake.

Not too bad

Stayed at this hotel while in Fargo for a national wrestling championship.  The hotel was under renovation however we received a room that had not been updated yet (paint tape still lined the inside and outside of our door).  The hotel will look very nice when complete.  Our room was very clean and our bed comfy.  The bathroom only had a shower which was fine with us, but a family traveling with small children may want a tub.  We could hear people in the hallways, but the hotel was full of highschool wrestlers competing in a national event so some noise and excitment was to be expected. The staff was nice and helpful.  Overall, easy on the bank account and we would stay there again.

Pass

I stay in a lot of budget motels & don't complain, but I wouldn't do this one again. I didn't think my room was clean enough. Probably just because I booked the cheapest advertised price, but it only had a stand up shower. On the ground level floor I could hear every step above me along with every noise from the hallways to the point where I couldn't sleept. The location is 2 minutes from downtown & about 10 from the mall/major shopping & dining area, but if you're a first timer in Fargo you'll need directions. Staff was polite, it was just the noise & cleaning that I wasn't comfortable with.
