Large and comfortable room in nice location.

Pros: A very comfortable room. Even had kitchenette that I never used.
Location: Piazzo del Ciampo is about 15 minute walk from the Duomo (center of City). With all of the walking entailed in visiting Florence, this no problem.
A very nice and spacious room in a nice location in Florence. Because these are 'suites', there is a minimum of hotel services, just a desk that is staffed part time. For the approximate $100 per night that I paid, this was a good tradeoff.

Simply a treasure for those wanting an experience of Florence other than a typical hotel

Pros: Close restaurants, marketplaces & santo croce, spacious & charming
Breathtaking Frescos, near to the antique & food marketplaces and best restaurant in Florence, Cibreo, This gem of a small palazzo apartment is perfect for extended stays or just a few nights. I liked being out of the tourist zone but still near to everything. The evening passeggiata along the street in front of the hotel is interesting & will sweep you up into Italian life! Karima at the front desk speaks many languages and there is an elevator for luggage. I studied Italian around the corner at Centro Italiano directed by Andria. So the location could not have been better!
