Flight Review

Jun 13, 2020

Great flight!! Would fly Hawaiian again!!

Mar 24, 2020

I did not like the $25 baggage fee, but I realize this is standard practice these days

Mar 15, 2020

Hawaiian Airlines needs better seats for sitting for 6 hours..

Mar 14, 2020

Was disappointed to have to pay $30 for a check ed bag because you were allowing people to check bags at the gate for free. 2 people, so $6o is a lot extra.

Mar 12, 2020

The crew was fantastic!

Mar 8, 2020

In particular one flight attendant. I wish I would have gotten his name. Very accommodating for everyone. Very nice

Mar 7, 2020

Complaint - After I originally booked my flight, I received an emails a couple weeks later changing my flight details. The time was OK, but the seats I selected were now gone and the new seat assignment split up my family! I had to wait until we were at the airport on the day of the flights in order to try and get seats togethers! On our return trip home, they were NOT able to accommodate us and my husband had to sit 4 rows behind my son and me. I made numerous calls to try and get our seats together again, but kept getting told that I will need to bring this up at the gate and they would accommodate us. Staff was very helpful and did the best they could, but it was VERY stressful not knowing whether or not my 9 year old was going to get seated next to a stranger for the 6 hour flight home.

Feb 28, 2020

Great flight much better than last flight on Frontier

Feb 26, 2020

Very impressed with Alaskan Airlines!!! 1st time flying with them and will definitely fly again!!

Feb 24, 2020

Seats are way too small and leg room is abhorrent.

Feb 21, 2020

Very comfortable flight

Feb 16, 2020

WiFi had issues on both legs.

FAQs about Maui Flights

What airport is best to fly into Maui?

Maui has just one airport. You'll be disembarking at Kahului, HI Airport (OGG), which is 9 miles (14 kilometers) from the city center.

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Maui

Make your flight to Maui a little easier by following these clever security tips:

  • Security personnel will request to see your boarding pass and travel ID upon arrival. Put them in a convenient place, so they're all ready for inspection.
  • Take off your belt and shoes before approaching the security checkpoint. Items such as these are not allowed in the body scanner.
  • All laptops must be taken out of their protective carry bags and placed in a tray before X-raying.
  • When you get to the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to put all creams, gels and liquids in a separate bin for scanning. Make sure they're all stored in containers smaller than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • Loosen your shoelaces in preparation for entering the body scanner. Depending on what type of shoes you've got on, security may tell you to remove them.
  • Some places have stringent quarantine laws. Consider where you're journeying to and whether or not you can fly with fresh fruit and meat.

  • The Ritz-Carlton : With two championship-caliber golf courses, six amazing eateries, a signature spa, and a host of poolside cabanas—all on-site—you’ll be pampered with luxurious amenities the moment you arrive on the pristine property.
  • Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa: When your poolside cabana also opens to the resort’s private strip of sandy serenity, the toughest decision you’ll have to make is whether to cool off in the ocean or with a refreshing cocktail from the Tiki bar.
