Great location, wonderful décor, good size room, beautiful dining area and excellent breakfast. Staff was helpful, friendly and energetic. Top of the line in every way.

I liked this hotel for several reasons. It wasn't like any other hotel that we've stayed in before. It had atmosphere, the staff was so attentive. The rooms were quaint, we stayed in the room with the balcony. It was so nice to go out on the patio and enjoy the ambiance of Florence. I really appreciated the larger towels in the bathroom and the extra amenities, gifts left in the room. Our room was so quiet, you couldn't hear anyone else in their room. That was a definite plus. Breakfast was wonderful. They had a very small pool, unfortunately we were too busy to experience that. I would stay here again as it was close to both the train station as well as the center of town.

Great location, staff and food - especially the free “American” breakfast! Wonderful bed and pillows- they offered three types. Hope to get back there someday!

This was the best hotel we stayed at in Europe. What a beautiful place. From checkin to checkout everyone treated us so good. Very close to the train station. We were able to drag our luggage to the hotel.

Great stay

Pros: Location, cleanliness, service, amenities, breakfast.... Everything!
Location: Very near the Santa Maria Novella train station and the central bus station. Easy walking distance to all the main sights of Florence.
This is a lovely hotel in central Florence. It has a great location, being just a few blocks from the train station and an easy walk to all the main sights. My room (a single) was small, but impeccably clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had nice common areas including a garden with tables and a small, but refreshing pool. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

Two Days in Florence

Pros: Updated room/bathroom. Really nice. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was decent/fast. Bar area was cozy and friendly, but overpriced.
Location: Florence...go read about it. It's all in the travel literature. The hotel isn't in the heart of the tourist area...but all walkable.
Very nice hotel. A step up from some others in Italy. Still....a bit pricey for late in season. Good location close to train/bus rental car offices. Could walk to all siteseeing. Staff was friendly.
