Flight Review

Mar 20, 2020

Delta staff damaged my bag that I had just purchased. It was my first trip. A london fog suit case. Very good quality and the Delta Staff broke a wheel right off of it. Now they won't replace it and this makes me very disappointed.

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Atlanta

Make your trip to Atlanta a little bit easier by following these clever security tips:

  • Have your passport and boarding pass in an easily accessible place. They'll be the first things you'll be instructed to produce by airport security personnel.
  • Remove your belt and shoes before approaching the security checkpoint. Items like these are not permitted to pass through the body scanner.
  • Laptops and other electronic devices must be placed in separate bins to be X-rayed.
  • Toothpaste, lip balm and other toiletry items in cream, liquid or gel form need to be stored in containers smaller than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters). They also need to fit in a 1-quart (1-liter) clear zip-lock plastic bag.
  • Security personnel will likely ask you to take off your shoes prior to entering the body scanner. Wear a pair that come off easily. There's nothing more annoying than having to do up your laces over and over again.
  • Scissors and multi-tools are not permitted on board the aircraft. Stash them away in your checked luggage to avoid them being confiscated at the security checkpoint.
