PROS: The location is fantastic and this is a very nice, more luxurious hotel than others in the Fort Collins area. We stayed during a storm so having the parking garage was nice allowing us to get up and go without scraping ice & snow of car. The restaurant is a beautiful space (love the tile on the floors!) and the pastries from the coffee shop were fresh, flaky, and delicious. CONS: Need to pay more attention to room cleaning details. This is not a cheap hotel so I was surprised that some cleanliness and professional details were overlooked. The tray that held the small Keurig was made of wood with a non-removable rubber mat. It is near impossible to pour water into the machine without dumping on the tray and our machine leaked out the bottom as well. This caused the tray to become swollen with mold that we could smell the moment we entered the room. We had to remove it from the room it was so bad and left a note for cleaning/maintenance on the tray explaining that one could see and smell the thick mold beneath the rubber mat. This also caused the wood shelf that holds the coffee tray to smell like mold. I'm not sure if the request to have the moldy tray removed was misinterpreted because after removing it, they did not replace our room coffee, cups, sugar/creamer, etc. We had to call the desk for these things. Another detail was one of the beds had a comforter that had been washed but all the filling had balled up unevenly so it looked like a funny old lumpy bed.

delayed check in because room was not available, not able to check into room until after 5:30 pm, internet did not work, had to pay for parking even though parking was free in the city lot where we parked on Sundays, difficult to park without key card due to not being able to check into our room until late
