Arrival on 3/2/24 given room 711. On entry we noticed drinking glasses appeared to be used, uncovered and sitting near the sink, ice bucket was uncovered with a bag inside.
Bed had been used and garbage was in the bathroom garbage can. We asked for housekeeping because we needed our room cleaned. House keeping showed up with coffee cups. We said no we need our room serviced. We called the front desk and requested a different room. We were given 708. We first found a used wash cloth over the shower curtain rod. While visiting friends in another room, we came back to find our sink drain stopper in our bathrooms had been unscrewed, which means someone had been in our room. The next morning we noticed the floor outside of our bedroom door was wet. Maintenance brought 2 blower fans in. The fans were run for a few hours. We had to request the blower fans again due to wet carpeting. Again they ran for a few hours. We were unhappy to find that our room door had been left open. The carpet has been wet the rest of our week. Our ceiling fan does not work, multiple light bulbs are out in the front bathroom and on our final night we caught a large cockroach. We were offered another room. We had requested to be close to our friends that were staying here and the only other room they could offer was the first room 711 which was not comparable to our room. The manager said he would refund us for the resort fees but did not follow through.
