beautiful, quiet, not crowded. The restaurant is pretty weak (a buffet), you may want to bring your own food; the nearest alternative is 20 min down the hill.

The building, staff and location are terrific and the scenery and outdoor activities as well! However, the carpets in all the common areas are in bad need of cleaning/ replacing. The food is mediocre at best but the bartender and wait staff are exceptional. The king size mattress in room 208 is the worst I've ever slept on anywhere. It is totally worn out!! Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge is a Georgia gem but the management isn't doing their job.
