The History.....Lobby. Our room was extremely small. Looked at other King rooms that were being cleaned when we checked out. At least 1/3 larger. Desk denied that was the case. Asked clerk to come with me to see. She declined and indicated I was wrong. Not good.

Since this Historic Hotel was built in 1936, some of the room layouts and sizes may vary and I apologize if you found the room to be a bit snug. Also, I will alert the proper staff so that they know about the clerk and her declination. I would love for you to stay with us again sometime so we can get you into one of our more spacious rooms. We really enjoyed our stay at El Rancho. The hotel decor is really unique. We love that it is not a chain. Everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was mot included, but we decided to have breakfast at the restaurant. It was well worth it. We highly recommend staying at El Rancho.

A/C didn’t cool very well - thanks goodness for ceiling fan! Would like to have had refrigerator. Overall pleasantly surprised with everything.

Beautiful and fun! Room very comfortable! Food and service great! Thank you!! Difficult for two ladies over 80 to go up the stairs to their room. No one available to take suitcases up. Elevator not working. No restroom on first floor (according to person at desk) Concerned about restaurant personnel at check counter wearing gloves - handling money and then wrapping silverware in napkins.
