Welcome to Waldingfield, a gentlemen's horse farm built in the 1920s. The French-Italianate Chateau (main house) is 10,000 square feet and sits on 40 acres with a handful of out-buildings including the Pool House. The grounds back up to the Ipswich River with 40 miles of walking trails in Appleton Farms. Horses, cows & sheep roam close by all year long. The town of Ipswich is made up of about 12,000 residents and most houses are in the historic, first period, New England style. Downtown offers restaurants, bars and shopping.

This property is a gem! It made for a perfect weekend getaway with my fiance. The pool house is just right for 2 people and the grounds are simply lovely. Edwin was a great host, providing a tour and lots of info about the area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
