Beware! This is not a Hampton Inn as you know it. It is an acquired property that used to be called Point Inn & Suites and it has not been updated very much. The “suite” we had came with a small love seat that folded out and it would not even fit for a normal size person. You could feel every spring in the mattress. The staff was very unhelpful. The desk staff would not even allow us to talk to the manager, as the manager could not be bothered. The staff that prepared breakfast would put things out and then leave, so they did not have deal with guests. There is a pervasive attitude in Jackson Hole that you pay the outrageous prices, because they can command it and it’s too bad if you have an unsatisfactory experience. We booked this hotel, because of our past experience with Hampton Inns and this turned out to be way below normal Hampton/Hilton standards.

Nice comfy hotel room

Pros: We liked the upscale breakfast choices, the comfortable beds, and the location.
Cons: There was a large armoire/shelf unit along one wall which took up a lot of floor space - left little room for luggage.
Location: It's only 2 miles to downtown Jackson (if wanting to walk around), and Grand Teton Park just up the road.
We stayed three nights in this hotel, and were pleased with overall comfort of the room - nice space, comfortable beds, and an efficient climate control unit. It's in a restful spot away (2 miles) from downtown, but there are plenty of stores and eateries nearby. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the free breakfast was very good - with hot items (eggs, bacon, etc.) as well as the usual continental fare. A nice fire pit is out in front too, so one could relax there with a drink if so inclined. The rooms aren't super big, but larger than most in this range. This is a great hotel for the price.

nice hotel

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Shower head broke, but I think that would just come from general maintenance.
Location: Great shopping, the gun barrel steak house was awesome, best steak I have had in a while. Elk refuge was great and fantastic skiing.
Very nice hotel, very clean and friendly staff. Nice breakfast in the morning Meeting our expectations.

Good, Pillows too thick

Staff was friendly & helpful; breakfast was excellent.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
While we enjoyed our stay, one evening another guest was given a key to our room in error and attempted to enter while we were present. Front desk personnel apologized but we were leery of room security for the remainder of our stay.
