Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The staff was incredible, and the food was good at the restaurant. The decor is dated but it’s part of the appeal and ambience of the inn and the bed/linens were very comfy. However, the walls are paper thin. Guests in the next room were talking at a normal level and I could hear them through the wall. It was disruptive enough that I could not recommend an overnight stay unless you have something that drowns out the noise if you have neighbors.

On a lark my wife and I booked this property. Wow! Beautiful historic place, a mini Greenbrier without the excess. Beautiful downtown with easy walking to shop. Don't miss the Nepal shop 2 blocks away, the owner is a veritable tour guide. The outdoor dining options, and the confortable country appointed rooms were awesome. We will be back soon for more spa services and to explore a wonderful place.

The location was great. the staff should have on a uniform or color that identifies them as hotel employees. The front of house in the dining area was NOT friendly. The walls are paper thin, so bring ear plugs! Otherwise good stay.

Not suited for the business traveler. Inn had no internet available. Was told by the staff WiFi/internet access was not dependable. Thin walls: neighboring room alarm went off at 4 am and it sounded as though it was coming from within my room. Will not stay again, will look for a good B&B.
